OS installation disabled trackpad

Hi,

I recently installed Ubuntu Budgie on my Acer Aspire 3. My track pad does not work when I boot into Ubuntu Budgie now, and when I boot into Windows, it is also disabled I have tried enabling in Windows device manager and in Ubuntu but I have had no luck.

Given that the trackpad isn’t working in both operating systems it is likely to be a hardware switch not a software issue.

Most laptops have a key or a function key combination that toggles the trackpad on/off.
