Hi with assistance I have got the Brother printer driver installed. I can print from Libre but unable to print a PDF attachment from an email file. Any thoughts? Thanks.

What model Brother printer are you using?
What email client are you using?
If you use the printers application, do you see the document in the print queue, any error messages?

The Brother printer is MFC-7860DW. My email service is Proton.
I don’t seem to have a printers application available but one would be usefull.
That URI seems really useful. When I used lpstat -p -d it said MFC-7860DW is idle. Waiting for printer to become available.
I’ve turned the printer off & on again and re ran lpstat -p -d with no change in the result.
I dont know how to access the printer que.

I cleared the printing que & tried reprinting. It seems to be working. Thanks for the assistance.
