This is just a general question. everytime I upgrade Budgie the upgrade window is always too big for my screen with no apparent way to resize it. The submit button is always below where I can reach it. How can I fix this?
Are you using some sort of virtualisation? If so what and describe how much memory you have given to the graphics driver and if you are using 3D acceleration.
If you are using a laptop or graphics card, what card are you using?
Basically it sound like your display is less than 800px in height.
I am using a Lenovo Thinkpad T420 that is using a NVD9 /Intel HD Graphics 3000 (SNB GT2)
It is set to: 1366 x 768 (16:9)

You do have a low resolution screen.
Two thoughts.
- In budgie desktop settings change the font size to 8. Mono fonts to 10. This should stop various graphical elements expanding
- In budgie desktop panel settings change the panel to autohide so that windows can use the extra space.
Thank you. I did all that. I guess i won’t know if that has fixed the problem until the next upgrade.
I am finding an error after the upgrade. It is saying there was an error in /etc/profile.debuginfod.sh. is this a common issue?

So thats something you have had installed in the past i am guessing.
If you are no longer using it then you could deleted that file.
I am finding another file where it says it is a broken link. So I have:
debuginfod.sh and debuginfod.csh.
Both files exist on my Linux Mint system and are in working order.
Do you have any further feedback on this? Did they disable this feature in this upgrade?
I think I am going to wait until Linux Mint gets upgraded in December and see if the same thing happens.
Its nothing todo with our default install.

I fixed it. The upgrade had removed a few packages. I reinstalled them through synaptic.

Can you tell us what they are? For users who have the same problem as you?
I will revise this soon, as I still have issues from that upgrade. I found out that the debuginfod issue was connected with Firefox Debian though. I have to reinstall the whole thing again. I am assuming that the upgrade removed third party libraries during the upgrade.
Please disregard this thread. I had to use Time Shift to revert to a previous installation. That upgrade to 24.10 was obviously corrupted in some way.
