Wi-Fi Adapter not found

lspci -v | grep -i network
Network controller: Broadcom Inc. and subsidiaries BCM43228 802.11a/b/g/n

I just installed Budgie and it seems it can’t find my wi-fi adapter. This on a dell latitude e6540. Has anyone had this issue? Any clues how I might fix it?

Suggest connect via ethernet. Then choose Menu - Hardware Drivers. It should offer you the broadcom sta driver which you can enable.

The broadcom driver would also have been installed if you ticked the proprietary drivers option during the install.

I fixed it by running

sudo apt update
sudo apt-get install --reinstall bcmwl-kernel-source
