So, what’s the plan (subject to change at a moments notice ) for desktop icons; staying with Nemo or using desktopfolders?
ah - first issue on the list above - still intend to actively pursue DesktopFolders … but as you say - will drop if not sufficient progress made.
Basically the 19.10 core capabilities such as desktop icons will form the basis of 20.04 LTS.
What’s the best way to help test? Grab a daily ISO and run the tests on http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com? If there’s another source of test cases or something of the like let me know. Thanks!

Thanks! The qa iso tests are mainly todo with installation issues. So a little early for those.
At this early stage really it is to download and install and use the OS as normal as possible and to record issues found. Let’s create a separate 19.10 testing discourse topic to report back stuff on.
