At the top right of my top panel, the BrightnessController applet has a duplicate which overlaps the System Tray’s wireless indicator:
Known issue upstream with the system tray. Restarting the panel or logging out logging in resolves.
The system tray is buggy which is why we are dropping it as part of the 20.04 layout.
@fossfreedom OK, I had assumed it was the Brightness Controller. I’ve deleted the system tray and found a wireless applet instead. I was never quite sure what the system tray was anyway and I can’t think of anything else that might have appeared in it that I would need.
That’s what the team believes also. The network applet is a default on 20.04.
