Budgie should seperate system tray applet into individual icons

#1

This would allow for more customization of applets.

#2

Are you sure you mean the legacy system tray? This holds all applications that present themselves as icons - they are not budgie applets. I don’t see an obvious way to have individual system trays for specific applications.

Anyway - this really needs to be discussed upstream https://github.com/solus-project/budgie-desktop/issues/new

#3

I meant the status indicator. Currently it combines the audio applet and the power applet

#4

Ah - yeah I agree with you on this one.

This is another area managed directly by upstream https://github.com/solus-project/budgie-desktop/issues/new - I don’t remember someone raising this previously (probably wrong  ); I suspect finding an enterprise developer would be required to make this happen, but feel free to raise it.

#5

unfortunately, i dont have a github account

Yeah, it’s kind of a Gnome Shell-esque thing. Volume, battery & bluetooth all together. Like the Dash-to-panel extension in Gnome, you can add spacers and rearrange others in order to create some better seperation. But yes, you’ll probably have to run that request upstream.
