Click on notification to open application

I didn’t use the notification tab very often, but recently I am trying it out more.

Today, I received a notification from the Software Updater to update my system, so I clicked on the notification to open the Updater App, but nothing happened.

Is there no action attached the notification “buttons”?

The button is fairly generic - the action depends on the calling app that creating the notification. If the app doesnt code a response to the button then nothing will happen.
