I stumbled upon a typo in the Budgie menu (Ubuntu Budgie 24.10).
Accessoires ought to be with double s, also in Dutch language.
Yet searching in Transifex the Dutch translation appears correct. But, in that neighbourhood I also see other categories for which there is a different translation.
Has something gone amiss with importing the correct (latest) translations, or is there somewhere an alternate source for translations?
It may very well be that I’m a bit impatient and that the latest translation updates will come once my system receives the update to 25.04 in a couple of days or so.

I’ve been participant to Transifex for quite some years and recently requested to be added to the Budgie project. But somehow, I only gained access to these underlying projects.

@fossfreedom I’d like to get in contact with the coordinating Dutch translator for Ubuntu Budgie. I noticed some inconsistencies in the informal or formal translation of you/your (je/jouw vs. u/uw) across the different project files and I need to know which is in line with the house style.
There are two specific reviewers for your translation language
@fossfreedom I’ve sent messages to both reviewers, but they appear to be unresponsive via Transifex messaging, as well as the given e-mail address. Are you confident that they are still active? (There was a large translation backlog.)
I’ve cleared all outstanding translation for now, and I’ve also put in a number of suggested improvements, which are currently pending review.

Could you give me a +1 example for this fuzzy time string?
In the developer notes some languages when describing “20 (minutes) past 1” (i.e. 1:20pm) actually translate this as 20 past 2 … so you use “+1” to add this extra “hour”

hmm - then that will take some code changes to achieve that. Not sure on the best way to express that in the translator notes
Would need some more examples - for example how do you express “1:40pm”? i.e. “20 to 2” in english ? Better to raise this on the budgie-extras github tracker and we’ll try to find some time to resolve in the near(ish) future.
1:40 pm in fuzzy English would be “20 to 2” and would make “10 over half 2” = “10 past half to 2” in Dutch language.
In this case I would not have to up the hour.
Did I make a wrong interpretation of the translators notes?
Isn’t the Applet already prepared for this, as the translators notes would indicate at?
I’ll install the fuzzy clock applet and check what it does at 17:20.
The old translation would give me “10 min before half to 5”, which was reason I wanted to edit these three.
