i downloaded 18.10 and i formated my drive using the filling with 0 method before installing ubuntu on it, downloaded a new iso. i installed the nvidia driver manually bcuz it didint have it preinstalled, i downloaded discord and uninstalled some of the games, i logged out, no login window showed up so i restarted and i got “failed to start session” error again when i entered my password
I am guessing you have uninstalled more than you think you have.
Press ctrl+alt+f3 to open a text tty
Login
Type
sudo apt install --reinstall ubuntu-budgie-desktop budgie-desktop budgie-core
after installing
Run
sudo apt update && sudo apt dist-upgrade
reboot –
