In 18.10 you can increase the sound output to above 100%. Is it possible to add that feature to 18.04? Two of my blue tooth ear buds need the extra volume.
If you enable the budgie welcome - recommendations - backports the 18.10 version of budgie desktop will be installed.
If you want to stick to the LTS version then over 100% is available via Settings - Sounds

Under sounds in 18.04 it is not possible to increase over 100%. I do not wish to move from an LTS so I take it this option is simply not available.
If you dont want to use our backports - you can install pavucontrol and set the volume above 100%
I have PAVU already, never thought to use it for that purpose. Thanks!
