Hi jlb
This is the copy of my 2d october message to You;
Hello Jean-Michel,
You could have copied and pasted the text of your message and reloaded the image. But anyway…
I’m screwed up on the elevated privileges panel (onglets user/share/backgrounds on the top bar
The only working button… shutdown.
That’s normal. The only way to exit elevated privileges is to close the file explorer. You’ve probably noticed that it doesn’t look like the normal Nemo for users.
The Budgie app shows two Budgie partitions, one mounted only… (both working until now).
Could you send a screenshot of the “Disks” application to help understand?
I’ll send you a private message so we can continue in French, it will be easier. We’ll post a summary when the issue is resolved.
Actually, @jeanmi2A’s second problem was this strange desktop overlay:
As warnings were telling him about duplicates in “dconf,” I suggested that he rename ~/.config/dconf/user, but I think there was something more subtle.
I thought about exporting “dconf” to search for possible duplicates, delete them, and reinsert the modified file with dconf dump and dconf load.
But it was a little too difficult to explain and achieve.
Does anyone have another idea? ![]()
