Trash applet : uncomplete fr translation

Hi,

today on a 24.04, there are some strings missing translations.

I might be wrong but I think it was correct in previous versions.

Thats probably a fair observation. Before 24.04 we were using our own trash applet. From 24.04 and later this was switched for the buddiesofbudgie official version

Aaand so ? What am I supposed to do to have it in french ?

First the budgie-desktop translations need to be checked and if necessary updated by a translator.

Then the translation strings need to be merged into the 22.04 translation files via a patch & tested. Once done then a stable-release-update needs to be requested - authorised by Canonical. A test suite needs to be written on how to test and a justification has to be written to as to what are the risks of the update and why it is necessary.

A budgie-desktop package needs to be built & uploaded. At that point Canonical will undergo a stable-release where a tester needs to test that the package released in proposed is ok before its authorised to be released.

The SRU for 24.04 needs to have the same fixes in 24.10 and 25.04 - those needs to be uploaded and tested first before 24.04 is authorised.

Thats the general gist how to get fixes into a stable release.

One step forward, two steps backward.

I mean I think I had done part of these translations long ago.
