I just noticed something strange: I had installed System Monitor applet on UB 26.04 a while ago, but I hadn’t realized until today that a “ghost” black version was showing up too:

I removed the applet from the panel and restarted the computer, but nothing changed.
Plus, even though you can’t tell from my screenshot, it’s still working.

Even after running sudo apt purge budgie-sysmonitor-applet, it still sticks to the panel! :thinking:

Found it! You also had to disable the autostart for indicator-sysmonitor and/or uninstall it. :roll_eyes:
