I can’t see difference between 1.0 and 1.5×
It’s only bigger than before in 20.04 - so seems like 1.5× is always applied.
System localized in French here where decimal separator is [ , ] and not [ . ] maybe it has some importance.

I was just surprised to have no answer since …november.
what icon-set are you using? Pocillo icons seem to vary according to the multiplier chosen.
Note - I’ve fixed the double cursor screenshot issue - this will be in 23.04
ok - team member Sam has reproduced this with the French locale - so decimal points (with a full-stop) works ok, anything with a comma fails.
I’ll copy the pictures and post upstream for you.
Icon set is Papirus, if of any interest.
So my intuition about french locale was not silly after all !
