That wallpaper is a perfect fit for your theme.

Do you know where it was taken? The location.

No idea, but it’s in the default desktop backgrounds selection (20.04 at least)
And the theme is the default Pocillo-light-slim theme.

Aight dude seriously I’m gonna need that wallpaper.

@hamza @Phosphorus (or @Storm ), could you tell me the location pictured in your wallpapers? I need to know if I have to update my travel bucket list.

It should be forbidden to post a screenshot of your desktop if it has a wallpaper of some landscape and it isn’t said where it was taken.

Cool, what gtk theme are you using?

The wallpaper was modified with gimp to change the color temperature. GTK is Plata blue gray.

Yes, the Budgie logo looks like a new moon floating above the earth, symbolising change and the start of a new future. :new_moon_with_face:

If you want to use the WhiteSur-dark theme, it might be better if you also select the matching WhiteSur-dark icons. I noticed that the default settings for WhiteSur in Budgie Welcome combine a dark theme with light icons. However, this small problem can be fixed very quickly. All you have to do is go to the Budgie Desktop Settings and change the WhiteSur icons to WhiteSur-dark.

Thx for the feedback. We’ll fix that asap.

Oh, you have to love the one-click customisability of Ubuntu Budgie. Although the Traditional Budgie layout was really nice to look at, I could never quite get used to the bottom position of the bar. I guess I’ve been working with Macintosh and Ubuntu for too long to ever get used to the Windows style. So I went back to the beginning and changed my desktop to the Ubuntu Budgie layout. What a relief! Well, as you can see, now only the weather in my home town leaves something to be desired. :cloud:

BTW, I added LightPad centred on the top panel with no icon set so I could use the super key to bring up LightPad. Not ideal, but the best workaround at the moment.

Hello folks,
you got a new member.
Here’s my Desktop.
Wallpaper: Gnome material wallpaper - pling.com
Just paste the rest of the links behind:
https://www.gnome-look.org
Cursor: /s/Gnome/p/1356095/
GTK Theme: /s/Gnome/p/1357889/
Icons: /s/Gnome/p/1427387/

I’m not 100% satisfied with the Icon set, but seems more “mature” than the rest i found. Will keep looking for another icon set. Love that Wallpaper! Awesome as a Loginscreen!
Wish you’ll the best.

Is it the GTK theme that makes the top bar seem to float?
