Show us your Budgie Desktop

Yes - and it doesn’t only seem to flaot, it is actually. If i click in that little space in between, nothing happens. You need to click accurate.
Love that kind of design, also that rounded shape at the ends and not connecting to the end of the Desktop.

Thanks.
I like the floating part, but less so the strikingly rounded edges.

If I try this theme, 1st thing I do is changing the border-radius to a very light roundness.

Mmm… not convinced by Orchis.

↑ here Nemo after maximize / unmaximized lost its rounded corners.

↑ if using only Budgie panels, looks weird.
And keylock indicator applet no longer « works » ( I’m currently NOT in caps lock ).

You could also instead try this:

Needed some Teal. :grinning:

Really nice and consistent.
This icon set is very well refined. Plus, it has the Manjaro color identity, which I’m also using (I dual boot Manjaro-Ubuntu with both Gnome and Budgie on all my computers).

Will try it it out RIGHT NOW.

Papirus icons do also have variant colors, including Teal.

The icon set is in beta , so there are some missing icons. I would use the papirus folders ppa , but I’m using the development release.

It’s amazing!!! I have never gone to Scotland.

Try TurkinOS 1 icon theme, from pling.

It’s time for a wallpaper with bold spring colours. :sunrise_over_mountains:

Is the darker background on right part of the top-panel intended ?

And same question for the very tiny icons inside workspace switcher ?

Hi, the top panel is generally on auto-hide so I rarely see it and is a dark grey which does stand out against a black window border whilst in fullscreen. As for the icons, i’ve just not got around making them any larger as yet, though they will never be “Large”.

Thanks. It’s a view of the lake taken in Icmeler, Turkey.

Regarding icons in workspace switcher, I think here they are « truncated ».

Regarding background color in panel / applets, I was wondering how you get « transparent » for most of the panel but solid black/grey background for the applets at the most right part of the panel, if intended ?
