Showtime show up then disappears

I just installed 22.04 on my Dell DT, dual boot win10, and cannot get showtime to stick to the desktop. At boot or login it will show briefly and then gone. I have removed it/reboot, added it back, rebooted and still will not stick.
Thanks, pete

Clean install? Is the Showtime window listed in wmctrl -lG, and if so, what is exactly the line? What is the output of xrandr?

Suitable for a SRU

Ah, of course, how can I forget.

And what do I do with that?

run the two commands (e.g. in tilix) and post the results.

I’ve got what looks like the same problem: the clock and weather appear when booting, then they disappear. I’m running on an iMac, late 2013.

My output:

me@computer:~$ wmctrl -lG
0x01a0000c -1 0 0 2560 45 computer budgie-panel
0x02200004 -1 0 2554 2560 163 computer plank
0x03000007 -1 0 0 2560 1440 computer Desktop
0x02a00007 0 -112 -20 1392 1512 computer Tilix: me@computer: ~

the first option for wmctrl is a lower-case L, not upper-case I.

Thats a bit over my head. I just removed showtime from budgie settings and installed conky manager with gotham theme. I have used conky for 10 years or so with no problem and I can write my own configs,

This will be fixed in a release next weekend
